Born in Knoxville, Mr. Winston counsels clients ranging from small local businesses to large national companies in business sales and acquisitions. Mr. Winston also maintains a general practice in estate planning, debt collection, probate, corporate law, and criminal defense.
Mr. Winston earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In law school, Mr. Winston was the Recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Writing. He earned his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from the University of South Carolina in 2014. Also in 2014, he was admitted to the Tennessee Bar Association.
Mr. Winston is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Federalist Society, and the Knox County Animal Cruelty Alliance Advisory Committee. He is a 2017 alumnus of Leadership Knoxville’s Introduction Knoxville. Mr. Winston serves on the Memorials & Resolutions Committee of the KBA.
Mr. Winston enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessie, an art teacher at Bearden Middle School, and their two children, Jacob (b. April 2015) and Kate (b. April 2017).
